Money Skills (The Financial Literacy Program)

Poverty is not only about money, it is also about not having access to the skills, resources, information, and choices necessary to get and maintain self-sufficiency.

Money Skills will help people on very limited income to build their skills and access information to effectively manage their money and plan for their future.

In this 4 week program you will learn about:

Banking - learn about different options and which are appropriate for you.

Budgeting – learn how to budget and get control over your money instead of your money controlling you.

Consumerisum – learn to make choices based on what is good for you. Our society teaches us that more is better, that is not true.

Credit – Credit history in this society is very important to achieve control of your finances. Learn how to make GOOD CREDIT possible.
