2003 Annual General Meeting

Our Annual General Meeting was held on September 18 at the Arbutus Club and offered many special moments for attendees. Deputy Chief Doug LePard of the Vancouver Police Department gave the keynote address and spoke about community partnerships. Board President Ian Doddington thanked funders, staff, donors, board, and volunteers for their contributions to the Agency and highlighted our successes and challenges throughout the year. Five volunteers were honoured for their outstanding contributions to our agency and twenty-three employees were recognized for their ten and fifteen year commitments to Family Services. A video presentation was shown -capturing the spirit of our organization through a series of photos and quotes. The meeting was capped off with cake and a round of "Happy Birthday" in celebration of our 75-year history.
