"I have been working as a volunteer for Family Services for the past 8 years. My time is spent as an intake worker. I inform and direct prospective clients to the appropriate services. For those individuals who are interested in the counselling services, I complete an intake form over the telephone.

Many clients are in dire need of the counselling services but unfortunately do not have the means to pay even the minimal fee of 15 dollars. I was very concerned about this and my husband and I decided to make a donation which would enable individuals with limited finances to be supplemented by a bursary.

I feel gratified in knowing that Family Services provides a very necessary method of support to many people in our community."
