Chris W. Sanderson joined the board of Family Services of Greater Vancouver in 2007. Chris has been a partner at Lawson Lundell since 1982. Chris was called to the B.C. bar in 1978, the Alberta bar in 1988 and the NWT bar in 2001. He is past chair of the Administrative Section of the B.C. Branch of the Canadian Bar Association and of the Advisory Council to the Westwater Research Centre of the University of B.C.

Chris’ practice focuses on civil litigation, appearances before administrative tribunals and government relations, all in the natural resources area. He has extensive experience before the Courts of British Columbia, the National Energy Board, the British Columbia Utilities Commission (the “BCUC”) and the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board and has represented industry, regulators, Crown corporations and the Governments of British Columbia and the Northwest Territories. He is particularly experienced with electrical and natural gas transmission matters in Western Canada.
