Julia Saunders works as the Director of SLI Education. Holding an MEd from UBC, Julia is an experienced sexual health educator, curriculum specialist and trainer. Since 2006, she has designed curriculum for government and has taught her innovative and engaging workshops to professionals, parents, and youth, both in the community and in schools.

Prior to creating SLI Education, Julia has worked in the health field for BC Women's, PHSA, BC Cancer, and the UBC School of Nursing. Believing in building community and supporting families, Julia looks forward to supporting Family Services of Greater Vancouver in their mandate to strengthen people, families, and communities in Greater Vancouver. She balances her passions for her work with enjoying her toddler, Elizabeth and husband, Jamie.
