Lisa Colls Simpson
Director

Lisa Colls Simpson is a creative and versatile business strategist with 25 years of senior management experience in commercial lending, business plan development, marketing, sales management and negotiations. She is a Business Advisor with Wardell Professional Development; a consulting firm specializing in helping business owners improve the profitability and self sufficiency of their organizations.

Lisa completed her MBA at Royal Roads University with a specialization in Leadership and earned a BA in Administrative & Commercial Studies (Finance/Economics) from the University of Western Ontario. In addition, she holds a Canadian Securities Certificate, a Grande Diplome from the French Culinary Institute in New York City, and is a provincially certified Personal Fitness and Weight Trainer.

Passionate about foreign travel and cultural diversity, she has enjoyed working for and consulting with small and large organizations in Japan, United States and Canada, developing strategic marketing and business plans.

In addition to her volunteer work with Family Services of Greater Vancouver, she is an adviser for MBA candidates at Royal Roads University, provides financial training to the Forum for Women Entrepreneur’s E-Series participants, and is a mentor with the Minerva Foundation, which helps women and girls achieve their full potential through programs in education, leadership development, economic security and safety.  When not training for a competitive rowing event she enjoys spending quiet time with her husband Robert, family and friends.
