Respect Safety & Violence Prevention in Youth Relationships (RSVP)
The RSVP program focuses on the development of healthy relationship skills for vulnerable children and youth. Group programs and presentations are available in the community and in schools, and are designed to raise awareness of relationship violence and promote the development of healthy personal relationships.

 

Program Features

  • Community outreach and education
  • Therapeutic 10-week groups for children and youth.  The RSVP group program is offered at no cost to schools in the Vancouver School Board.
  • Presentations to school classes or other community groups
  • Mentorship program for selected students who have completed an RSVP group.
  • Information workshops for parents
  • Training opportunities for professionals to facilitate RSVP groups

Access to Program
All requests for groups and presentations can be directed to the RSVP Coordinator, at 604-874-2938.  Referrals of children and youth for RSVP groups are typically directed to the area counsellor of a child’s home school.

The RSVP Program will be provided at various schools and community locations.
