Resource Centre & Peer Support program

Providing support to Vancouver's homeless youth and youth at-risk

The Resource Centre is the point of first entry for homeless and at-risk youth coming to Directions Youth Services Centre. When first coming to the centre, the youth's needs are assessed and referrals and connections are made to appropriate services, be it at Directions or through other community partners. The centre is committed to providing low-barrier access for youth. As such, pet kennels are provided to house pets and lockers are available to store personal belongings while the youth are accessing the services of the centre. A well-ventilated interior smoking room is also available to youth to keep them inside the centre.
