Transitions to Independence

Providing support to Vancouver's homeless youth and youth at-risk

The Transitions to Independence program at Directions Youth Services Centre assists homeless youth and youth at-risk work toward independence. The program connects youth with relevant services and provides coaching and life skills training to help them achieve independence. This includes assistance in finding and maintaining a place to live, attending and succeeding at school, securing employment, and other related independent living skills.

 

Ages served:
The Transitions to Independence program is available to youth aged 18 years and under

Program Hours:
Monday - Friday; 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

Program Access:
This is a gated access program; access to the program is through MCFD referrals only.
