On April 2, 2012, the province of British Columbia launched its new Employment Program. Family Services of Greater Vancouver is pleased to offer this new program — a free service available to residents of the Vancouver City Centre area who are unemployed or under6employed (working less than 20 hours a week) and legally entitled to work in Canada. We provide information, counselling, and support to assist you with your employment needs.

What we offer:

  • Case managers available for employment counselling and planning
  • Employment expertise for specialized groups
  • Resource room with on6site help
  • Computers, with high speed internet access
  • Updated job postings and daily papers
  • Job search workshops
  • Multilingual services
  • Reference library
  • Photocopying
  • Local calls and faxing
