Werner is a Business Advisor with Wardell Professional Development; a consulting firm specializing in helping business owners improve the profitability and self sufficiency of their organizations. He has over 30 years experience working for private sector, government, and not-for-profit organizations, and enjoys a solid reputation for creating and leveraging executive relationships within multi-issue and multi-stakeholder environments.
A highly experienced communicator, Werner is looking forward to bringing his government, public and media relations expertise to the Board of Family Services of Greater Vancouver.
In addition to his volunteer role with Family Services of Greater Vancouver, he currently serves as an Advisory Board Member with Mosqoy; a charitable group providing educational opportunities for the children of the Sacred Valley of Peru. Werner previously served on the Board of Directors for both the Industry Training & Apprenticeship Commission and the Quality Council of BC, and was a member of the BC Manufacturing Industry Advisory Council, the Coalition of BC Businesses and the BC Business Summit. Werner and his wife Heather have two grown children.
